The politicians in D.C. promised us an “easier to use” way of obtaining health insurance. Their thought was that America needs a centralized source for health insurance.
Many people are under a false understanding. The Health Insurance Exchanges are not like the New York Stock Exchange. Rather than using a human being to help you buy health insurance, you will use a computer interface.
Here is a video explaining how the Health Insurance Exchanges will look. Some minor tweaking may be done before it is final in October. This is only the proposed version.
If you have 17 minutes to spare, click on the video above to watch an educational spot prepared by the Department of Health and Human Services. After you do, share your thoughts in the poll below.
If you are part of the majority of Americans who get their health insurance through your employer or you are one of those who are exempt from Obamacare’s Individual Mandate, you will not see this.
However, millions of Americans do not have access to health insurance at work or Medicare. If you do not feel comfortable on the computer or you need professional help, there will still be insurance agents who can help you.
