It is impossible to answer the question, “What is the most important supplement to Obamacare?”
The answer to that question will be different for everyone. The worker who is dependent on his/her paycheck may find Disability Income insurance most important.
The home-maker who saw her mother suffer from breast cancer may find Critical Illness insurance more important.
Still, a parent with clumsy child may feel that and Accident Supplement is more important for the family.
With the limitations in the Essential Benefit Plans, I anticipate that once the National Open Enrollment is over next March, Critical Illness insurance will become the big seller among people who are not happy being told they must buy health insurance but want insurance to help them in the event of cancer, heart attack or stroke.
I expect this type of insurance to be especially popular with those people who have seen members of their family undergo treatment for cancer, heart attack or stroke.
